BEAD Overview

The Broadband, Equity, Access & Deployment Program (BEAD) provides federal funding to make grants to Eligible Entities for broadband planning, deployment, mapping, equity, and adoption projects and activities. BEAD encompasses $42.45 billion in funding across all 50 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
